Street Dance in Buckinghamshire

Hip Hop Don’t Stop is an uplifting, welcoming three-day adults’ street dance camp in High Wycombe. The format throughout the camp is a party-style warm-up session, then three 90-minute workshops teaching different urban dance forms, then an 60-minute jam to demonstrate new moves. Dancers are split into levels based on ability and experience, so it is suitable for those who are brand new to popping and locking, right up to experienced performers or instructors. The camp doesn’t include accommodation but there are a number of hostels and hotels nearby, and it is under an hour by train into central London.

Sea Shanty Break in Cornwall

St Ives is the excellent spot for a maritime music retreat. Guests will be taught traditional shanties from a experienced musician, and have a go at composing original ones. There will be vocal warmups, breath control techniques, stagecraft advice and a final evening concert. The retreat is based at a rural hotel with views of St Ives Bay. Full board are provided, such as a traditional tea on the first day, cooked or continental breakfasts, packed lunches and evening meals. Traditional rum, alas, is not included. Creative Writing in Greece
