One-Punch Man Season 3 Is Set to Continue (In 2027)
Perhaps the most surprising revelation, the notorious controversial season that was season 3 of One-Punch Man failed to halt the series' continuation. The show will come back with a subsequent part in 2027—a date so remote they might as well have dubbed it season 4. Even more shocking, the studio J.C. Staff will still be in charge. Thankfully this time, director Shinpei Nagai is attached to direct from the beginning, which is seen as a good sign. However, the promotional image for the continuation is the same image the one used for season 3, just with protagonists Saitama and Garou facing different directions. This leads one to believe that, nowadays, they must be teasing the fans.
Ruri Dragon Will Be the Premiere Shonen Jump Anime Produced By Kyoto Animation
Kyoto Animation has forged a reputation for being an top-tier animation studio, setting itself apart not just for the superb artistry of its work but for the good working conditions of its employees—a sadly unusual standard in the industry. Unexpectedly, until now, it had never worked on an anime based on a manga published in Shonen Jump, perhaps the best-known magazine in the business. Ruri Dragon will break that tradition, and what a great choice it is. The manga by Masaoki Shindo achieved massive popularity when it launched in 2022 after just a handful of installments, but then went into a two-year hiatus due to the author's health issues. When it resumed publication with a more relaxed pace, the series demonstrated it maintained the fans' appreciation and positive sentiment, and now fans are overjoyed about the upcoming KyoAni adaptation.
The Kingdom Series Season 6 Will Get a Sequel In Production
Kingdom is the top-selling, epic Shueisha manga that is other than One Piece. If you've never heard of it before, it's because it only recently got an English localization, but the anime has been running for some time, and season 6 was another stellar entry. It turns out that was just the initial batch, because a "sequel" has been revealed as in development, and it will very likely premiere in 2026.

A further studio known for the artistic merit of its work, Science Saru has given us critically acclaimed works of the ilk of Space Dandy, Devilman Crybaby, and, most recently, Dandadan. This time, the studio will be producing the adaptation of Tomato Soup's manga A Witch's Life in Mongol, based on the real historical figure of Fatima, an powerful woman and thinker in the Mongol Empire in the 13th century. Based on the trailer, the anime called Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia will have a highly unique and fascinating visual style, which is somewhat reminiscent of Ranking of Kings. Debuting in July 2026, this one will definitely be on my list of anticipated shows.
