Jet Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Windshield

A jet transporting Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an emergency landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the aircraft's cockpit window, according to an official announcement which stated that the secretary was unharmed.

"The jet touched down based on standard protocol and everyone onboard, among them Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," a spokesperson stated in a social media post.

He was traveling back from a brief trip to the city of Brussels when the incident occurred.

This occurrence is not the first time that a United States armed forces jet transporting a high-ranking official has encountered equipment failures.

In a previous incident this year, a United States Air Force aircraft carrying Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was compelled to turn back to Washington after experiencing a technical issue.
